As a woman who sometimes prefers comfort with style, it excites me when trends come out in fashion that allows me to combine both elements into one piece of clothing.
A very noticeable trend on the fall fashion racks this year is rich tribal-themed prints. Tribal patterns are definitely a strong statement – it represents a fierce confidence, showcases sharp colours, and holds the history and heritage of several cultures around the world in a visual way.
One of my favourite tribal pieces is a wrap sweater that I purchased from a cute Wicker Park area boutique in Chicago for $70. Don’t fret ladies – this beautiful sweater is available online on Mod Cloth and a few other web-based stores. With the crisper autumn temperatures, I find myself trying to wrap up in anything plush, warm and cozy on a regular basis now and this piece fits in perfectly with that.
This certainly kept me warm and on trend this past weekend…
