A Peachy Playlist – Pop ‘N 80s

Since I started my blog, a few friends have requested the return of my famous playlists – a way back playback to the day when I used to make burned CDs with a specific theme running through the music.

As I catch up on work tonight (on a Saturday night, I may add), I am listening to pop selections from the 1980s! I was born in the decade full of neon bicycle shorts, when Cyndi Lauper took over MTV and sitcoms like The Cosby Show, Growing Pains and Family Ties were cool.

To get the creative juices flowing tonight, here is my electrifying 80s playlist:

1) Video Killed The Radio Star – The Buggles
2) We Got The Beat – The Go-Gos
3) She Blinded Me With Science – Thomas Dolby
4) Come On Eileen – Dexys Midnight Runners
5) Love My Way – The Psychedelic Furs
6) Venus – Bananarama
7) Ghostbusters – Ray Parker Jr.
8) Flashdance…What A Feeling – Irene Cara
9) Raspberry Beret – Prince
10) We Didn’t Start The Fire – Billy Joel
11) Let’s Hear It For The Boy – Deniece Williams
12) Centerfold – J. Geils Band
13) Billie Jean – Michael Jackson
14) Shadows Of The Night – Pat Benatar
15) Sledgehammer – Peter Gabriel
16) Hungry Eyes – Eric Carmen
17) Heaven Is a Place On Earth – Belinda Carlisle
18) The Power of Love – Huey Lewis & The News

Happy listening!

Perfect Picture Pick – The Girl with the Golden Heels

With the fall in full bloom this week (including the crisper temperatures), I decided to splurge and buy a pair of booties for the season. I went in thinking black and in a practical fabric. Instead, I fell in love with these Ivanka Trump burgundy suede booties, complete with a gold heel… and the rest was history.

As I say: Domestic divas can always put a ton of style on their feet without the pain!

Fall into Autumn Fragrances

The air has become crisp, the days are getting shorter and the leaves are starting to fall. This is the time where we say goodbye to those light summer scents and welcome in the fall fragrances and body care items.

Once Autumn enters the picture, I resurrect my love for apples, pumpkins, warm spicy scents and other fragrances that exudes what the season represents.

Here are a few of my favourite fragrances and body products I swear by during this cooler and colourful season:
